Shad’s Office-So WWE Hell in a Cell is tomorrow and there are some matches that I wanna discuss that I wanna think could possibly go.
Full Match Card
- Kickoff: Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado and Sin Cara vs. Tony Nese, Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari
- Bayley vs. Dana Brooke
- Enzo and Big Cass vs. Gallows and Anderson
- WWE cruiserweight champion T.J. Perkins vs. Brian Kendrick
- Raw tag team champions The New Day vs. Cesaro and Sheamus
- WWE United States champion Roman Reigns vs. Rusev in a Hell in a Cell match
- WWE universal champion Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match
- Raw women’s champion Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte in a Hell in a Cell match
I believe this match will be exciting to watch, however, to me the outcome doesn’t really matter do to the lack of story building up to this. This match does show most of the cruiserweight division roster, but this just comes to the same thing each week. The characters haven’t really developed to show who they are exactly and there is no reason for this match to happen. All we know is that Tony Nese and Drew Gulak are bad guys because they like to hurt people and brag about it, while Ariva Daivari is only bad because he doesn’t show off much with his offense. Sin Cara and Lince Dorado are good teammate because they are exciting luchadors while Cedric Alexander is explosive in what he does.
Winner: Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado, and Sin Cara by pinfall
Bayley vs Dana Brookes
Dana Brookes has been shadowing Charlotte and just basically becoming insecure. Due to this she has decided to go after Bayley to try and prove herself and bullying her wherever she is. Although Bayley has that bubbly attitude she has proved to be tough. However, Brooke injured Bayley’s shoulder in their last match together and with this recent attack Brooke made on Bayley, this could have a huge impact on this match.
Due to this feud Brooke has been gaining a lot of momentum, but if she wants to prove herself more than just a lackey she will need this win. Due to this I believe she will be targeting that shoulder as much as she can throughout the match and will end up winning.
Winner: Dana Brooke via Pinfall
Enzo and Big Cass vs Anderson and Gallows
These 2 teams seem to be some of the most popular stars around at the moment and I think they are being under utilized as they haven’t really been used properly. With Anderson and Gallows losing their title match against The New Day and Enzo and Big Cass losing to…The Shining Stars? I mean come on what was WWE thinking? Anyways this feud has been doing good for them.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were at first in a feud against The New Day, however they ended up losing to them in the end. After the feud they promised to end all the fun and games in WWE and instantly went after Enzo and Cass assaulting them right before a match. The Realest Guys in the room came back more focused and angered as ever as both guys defeated Anderson in singles matches. Now with this match they are hoping to get revenge on them both, while Anderson and Gallows hope to make another statement against them.
I believe Anderson and Gallows will win this to stay relevant in this rivalry and to string it out longer.
Winners: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson via Pinfall
Cruiserweight Championship Match: T.J. Perkins vs Brian Kendrick
This rivalry in my opinion is the best thing happening for the Cruiserweight Division at the moment as they have more defined characters at the moment. However, they haven’t had top performance matches that we all know they can uphold. If they carry out a top performance match this time around at Hell in a Cell they may help the Cruiserweight Division a bigger part of Raw.
T.J. Perkins and Brian Kendrick actually grew up training together at an attempt in Pro Wrestling. However, Kendrick started later than Perkins.
WWE reached out to both Perkins and Kendrick at a new opportunity in WWE through CWC, but Perkins won the belt. Kendrick may have outstanding ring work, he has been relying on cheap shots to win. Kendrick has already said that he will be unable to defeate T.J. Perkins so this may be a sign to what is to come.
Winner: T.J. Perkins via Submission
Raw tag team champions The New Day vs. Cesaro and Sheamus
These two guys started out feeling underappreciated and made their frustrations known to Mick Foley whom ended up having the 2 face off in a Best of Seven Series of matches in which neither walked out victorious. Due to this outcome he came up with an idea to put the pair as a Tag Team and put them up against The New Day for the Tag Team Titles. Although Sheamus and Cesaro have not found a common ground between them and have bickered the whole time, they have however, picked up wins over them in Non-Title Matches.
I feel like they will fail to get along and will end up costing them the match.
Winner: The New Day via Pinfall
WWE United States champion Roman Reigns vs. Rusev in a Hell in a Cell match
Roman Reigns and Rusev has had some great chemistry in the ring which just puts on great brawls. These 2 with the aggression they both have is just perfect rivals.
After Roman Reigns had been suffering losses he decided to go after the United States Champion Rusev. He ended up getting a title shot and then made it personal when he ruined Rusev and Lana’s Wedding Celebration. The 2 ended up brawling it out and then Reigns won the title at Clash of Champions. With the rivalry growing down and this as the final fight between the 2, they will not be holding back and this match will get bloody and aggressive as ever.
With Roman Reigns looking for redemption after losing all those matches and Rusev looking weak against Roman this could mean one thing.
Winner: Roman Reigns via Pinfall
WWE universal champion Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match
Back in August Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns had a triple threat match for the championship and the fight was going good until Triple H made his return known and screwed over Seth Rollins for the championship basically handing it over to Kevin Owens. Seth Rollins then had to face the reality of not having The Authority backing him up any longer.
I feel like during the match Chris Jericho will end up interfering in the Hell in a Cell match or Triple H will again return to help out Kevin Owens.
Winner: Kevin Owens via Pinfall due to many distractions.
Raw women’s champion Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte in a Hell in a Cell match
For the first time ever WWE will get a Woman’s Hell in a Cell Match with the likes of Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair. What a wonderful time it is. With the Woman’s Revolution taking over what do we have to say about it. These two woman have by far the best story line leading up to Hell in a Cell than anyone on this card. They have outstanding chemistry in the ring and have changed Woman’s Wrestling forever.
These two woman started the Woman’s Revolution by openly seeking out to prove that they are more than just pretty faces putting on a fuller match for what would be like 5 minutes. They have put on matches that would be up to par with the men, These two women started out as friends and then ended up on opposite sides fighting for the Women’s Championship.
With both women tied 2-2 for the Championship with Charlotte Winning on PPV and Sasha winning on Raw this will give Sasha Banks the chance to prove she can beat Charlotte on PPV.
Winner: Sasha Banks via Submission
Rumors and Opinions
My opinion for the Universal Championship at the moment is that Kevin Owens will hold the title up until the Royal Rumble where Finn Balor will regain it.
Now you know I can’t end this post without talking about the biggest thing right now, Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar.
With Goldberg 1-0 on Brock Lesnar I feel like they will have Brock Lesnar come out on top at Survivor Series. Now I know what you are thinking, however the reason being is because I feel like the WWE is gonna hold out until WrestleMania for Goldberg and Brock Lesnar go at it once and for all and settle the tie breaker.
