21 year old Matt Greenwood who was diagnosed with bone cancer and given nine months to live after cancer spread from his hip to his lungs has sadly passed away.
His friends who had raised over £56,000 for him to complete his bucket list.
The principal at St Edmund Hall University in Oxford said he was an “extremely brave man”.
He was described as “inspirational” to his fellow classmates and had an excellent sense of humor.
In the last month, Matt’s friends started the campaign to help him complete his bucket list.
Before his death, Matt had thanked everyone for their support saying, “unbelievable from all directions, just an outpouring of love and it’s really, really been moving”
Matt was the vice-captain of the St Edmund Hall boat club.
